AirCARE1 has become a preferred provider for the International Assistance Group (IAG). International Assistance Group® is a global network of 61 Partners and preferred providers from all sectors of the assistance value chain, located in a range of countries throughout the world. Selection to become a preferred provider is based on recommendation and a vetting process. AirCARE1 is only the second air ambulance provider to be selected from the United States. Taking an holistic approach to treating patients onboard air ambulance flights is a unique method we use here at AirCARE1 to reduce stress in patients during the flight. Public Notice: Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems
The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems will conduct an accreditation site visit of AirCARE1 on December 1st & 2nd 2014. The purpose of the site visit will be to evaluate the program’s compliance with nationally established medical transport standards. The site visit results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which accreditation should be awarded to the program. AirCARE1 Receives Blanket Mexican Air Ambulance Permit
AirCARE1 is pleased to announce we have received our Blanket Mexican Air Ambulance permit from the government of Mexico. This blanket permit allows AirCARE1 to conduct “at will” air ambulance operations in and out of Mexico. Nevada Requires Air Ambulance Companies to Have State Permit
The Nevada State Senate recently passed Senate Bill 285 (SB285). This legislation prohibits Air Ambulance providers from transporting patients in or out of the state of Nevada without first complying with the state's safety, medical, and transportation requirements. Few Air Ambulances providers have complied with this new bill to obtain the necessary permit.
